Zoom for Webinars is $54 a month… for only 100 attendees

WebinarJam is a whopping $479 a year!

If you’re just starting a business from home, that’s a lot of money to spend just to host a webinar that isn’t guaranteed to make you any money!

I decided there has to be a better way, and sure enough there is! In fact, there’s an EASY FREE way to host your next webinar.

How Can I Host a Webinar for Free?

Enter YouTube, the amazing video platform owned by Google.

Through YouTube Live, you can easily host your own webinar without paying a dime. Pretty sweet, right?

Here’s how it works.

Step 1: Set Up Go Live

Go to YouTube.com, sign into your account, and click on the camera and then Go Live.

If you have never used YouTube’s live streaming before, you’ll need to be verified first. Don’t worry, there’s no lengthy application process. All you have to do is click the button and wait up to 24 hours for the verification to go through.

Once your account is verified, you’ll be able to go live instantly. But because you’re hosting a webinar, we want to plan out an event ahead of time.

Step 2: Schedule Your Webinar

Now you just need to add your webinar information.

Enter your webinar name and then select if you want the stream to be public or unlisted. Unlisted means that someone won’t be able to search for your video on YouTube; they’ll need a direct link to access it.

And then enter the date of your webinar and the start time.

If you click on the more options tab, you can enter in a brief description of your masterclass. Once you’re finished, hit the Next button.

Now YouTube will be nice enough to take a picture of you from your webcam.

Don’t worry- you can upload a custom thumbnail on the next screen. The current recommended size is 1280 x 720 px.

Step 3: Share Your Webinar

Don’t you love things as easy as 1 – 2 – 3? This definitely is!

Click on the Share button next to the blue Go Live button. The pop up box will give you a plethora of options on how to share the link to your scheduled livestream.

If you want to share you webinar on social media or in an email, copy the link and paste it into your post or email.

But if you don’t want people distracted by everything on YouTube, you can embed your live video right onto your own website. You can grab the Embed code right there.
